Early American Life

Opening Fall 2024

Learn How

Every major technological device we have today can be traced back to the discoveries during early American history. In this Exhibit known as “Early American Life” we showcase the building blocks that allowed other major inventions to flourish.

We feature the “Jack of all trades”, Benjamin Franklin, who contributed to the the overall understanding of electricity with his famous kite experiment.

We also have Georg Ohm who created Ohm’s Law, still used today to describe the relationship between voltage, current and resistance in an electrical circuit. In this exhibit guests will experience the spark that changed the world.
